  • 2 beautifully designed bedrooms that can be made up as 1 x Super King and 1 x twin bedrooms or 2 x twin bedrooms. All our bedding is 300 thread count cotton sheets; you are sure to have a comfortable night’s sleep!

  • A newly fitted shower room, finished to a high standard, with a large, fixed head power shower and separate handset, Burlington sink and toilet.

  • A well-equipped kitchen diner (gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge freezer) with farmhouse style table comfortably seating 4 guests and separate utility room with washing machine.

  • Beautifully decorated living room with HD TV, comfortable seating for 4, bookshelves with a selection of books for all ages and games cupboard.

  • Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk is provided to quench your thirst on arrival. You’ll also receive our famous Welcome Basket of local and homemade goodies to enjoy. Salt, pepper, cooking oil and washing up liquid is also provided in the kitchen plus hand wash and loo roll throughout too.

  • You can check in from 3pm on your day of arrival. We operate a self check-in process and you’ll receive an email with full instructions shortly before your stay with us.

  • Yes, on street parking is available outside our Union Street property and you should never have to park too far away.

  • Whilst we always recommend our guests to use the small independent shops in Kirkcudbright, there is also a small CO-OP on St Cuthbert Street and a Tesco also on St Cuthbert Street - both are walking distance from 14 Union Street.

  • There is no storage space at Union Street for bikes, but Wm Law in Kirkcudbright offers cycle hire - head to our ‘Things To Do’ page for more information.

  • Union Street doesn’t have a garden but that shouldn’t stop you enjoying the outdoors! There are plenty of lovely public outdoor areas in the town such as Soaperie Gardens in the church grounds, Moat Brae overlooking the harbour and Gartshore Park a short walk from the cottage. A short walk from the town centre are Barrhill Woods where if you’re lucky you’ll be able to spot red squirrels.

  • There are two public electric car charging points in Kirkcudbright. One in located at 105 High Street and the other can be found at 2 St Cuthbert Street.

  • We welcome two well behaved dogs at 14 Union Street (and kindly ask that they stay downstairs and not on the furniture).

  • Should guests have to cancel their booking, please note that the following refund policy applies:-

    Once payment is received, the deposit or full payment amount will only be refunded if the property is re-booked.

    a) There is 12 weeks or longer from the date of cancellation to the arrival date

    b) The deposit or total amount will only be refunded if the cancelled dates are re-booked for the same period at the same rate. Guests will be refunded once the re-booked funds are received.

    c) We reserve the right to charge an administration refund fee of £10.00

    We strongly recommend all clients take out their own Holiday Insurance Policy.
